My advent calendar is not working.
- Have you inserted the provided batteries in the battery compartment, and are they placed in correctly (“+” / “-“)?
- Is the switch in the “ON” position?
- Is it in a well-lit room? Low light can affect the door sensors.
- Have you tried opening and closing each door?
- Try gently blowing on each door sensor in case there are dust particles present.
My Advent Calendar plays music even when the door is closed.
- Have you checked that the doors are completely closed?
- Try gently blowing on each door sensor in case there are dust particles present.
- Try turning the calendar switch to the “OFF” position for 30 seconds, then turn it back on to see if it resolves.
Useful Tips
- Please note that the light sensor needs a minimum amount of light to work. If the room is too dark (eg. dimmed lights to increase the atmosphere) it is possible the sensors will not react. If there is direct sunlight shining on the sensor or the surroundings are very bright the sensors may receive straying light and turn on when not wanted.
- Not intended for use with rechargeable batteries.
- To prolong the life of the advent calendar when being stored.
- Remove all batteries
- Store the advent calendar in the product box in a room away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
