1. Check the Power Cord

Inspect the entire length of the power cord for:

• Cuts or fraying
• Bent plug prongs
• Loose connections

Important: If the cord is damaged, discontinue use immediately and replace the cord before operating the Schwibbogen.

2. Check the Wall Outlet

Test the outlet by plugging in another device, such as a lamp or phone charger, to verify that the outlet is functioning properly.

3. Check the Fuse in the Plug (If Applicable)

Some Schwibbogen power cords contain a fuse inside the plug.

1. Open the fuse compartment.
2. Remove and inspect the fuse.
3. Look for signs of damage, such as blackening or a broken filament.

If the fuse is damaged, replace it with a fuse of the same type and rating.

4. Check the Light Bulb Sockets

Inspect each socket and ensure that:

• All bulbs are securely seated.
• There is no corrosion inside the socket.
• The metal contacts are not bent or damaged.

5. Replace the Light Bulbs

In some Schwibbogen models, a single burned-out bulb can prevent the entire arch from lighting.

1. Remove each bulb and inspect the filament.
2. Look for darkening, breakage, or other signs of failure.
3. Replace any faulty bulbs with bulbs of the same voltage and type.
